We’re seeking a Business Admin Intern to support our growing team. In this role, you’ll help improve the efficiency of our internal processes, provide admin support for client projects, and assist with day-to-day business operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven agency, and learn how creative businesses run behind the scenes.
We are seeking an organized, efficient, and proactive individual to join our small team of professionals. They will have exceptional customer service skills and represent our company in all interactions with clients, staff, suppliers, and potential clients.
Internship Start Date: September 1, 2025 (16-20 weeks)
This is an in-person position in downtown Vancouver. Remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and internal communications
- Organize and maintain digital files, client folders, and documentation
- Support onboarding and follow-up communications with clients and vendors
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and help track action items
- Assist with reporting, invoicing prep, and simple data entry in spreadsheets or project management tools
- Conduct light research for business development or campaign projects
- Help maintain internal systems like ClickUp, Salesforce, and Microsoft Outlook
- Support the leadership team with ad hoc admin or operations tasks

Nice To Have
- Familiarity with WordPress, Canva
- Experience with CRM tools or reporting platforms is a plus
- Interest in communications, design, or public sector work
Supervision & Mentorship Plan
The intern will be supervised by KIMBO’s Operations Lead and Creative Director. Weekly check-ins, project briefings, and feedback sessions will ensure the intern is supported and continuously learning. They’ll be encouraged to ask questions, bring ideas forward, and develop initiative in a safe and inclusive environment.
The candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Wage: $18 per hour
