We were impressed with KIMBO Design's body of work as well as their implementation of sustainable design. By providing us with excellent design expertise and guidance on web functionality, the team helped us turn our vision of a new brand and website into a reality. When feedback was needed, modifications were made very quickly.

The redesigned platform for the District of Ucluelet is a thoughtful, user-friendly space created to better serve our residents, businesses, and visitors. With improved navigation, greater transparency, enhanced accessibility, and a stronger connection to our community, the new site reflects our commitment to service and engagement. It was a privilege to manage this project in collaboration with KIMBO Design Inc. and their skilled team. We presented a clear vision, and they delivered with creativity, precision, and professionalism.

I have been extremely impressed with the entire team at KIMBO Design. KIMBO really helped to bring this report to the next level in terms of telling the visual story and capturing the emotions of the people we spoke with. A major focus for this project was hearing directly from people living in poverty – through their voices and eyes, which meant that visual presentation was critical to conveying their experiences. Throughout the whole process, the KIMBO team was very supportive, responsive and thorough in ensuring the final product met both our needs and the needs of our government client in creating a truly impactful and important piece of research.

KIMBO Design did an excellent job in supporting BC TEAL with a new website and logo refresh. Our site design required a high level of technical expertise that included integrated payment options and a number of special features – KIMBO staff delivered. The KIMBO Design team were professional, enthusiastic and highly creative. The national advertising campaign was completed on time, and on budget, and resulted in a 908% increase in Facebook likes, 40% increase in Twitter followers and over 64,000 site visitors during the first year. We were so fortunate to work with KIMBO Design on the design and branding of the 65 Roses Gala event collateral. Their attention to detail, passion, and creativity was present from our initial meeting. They went the extra mile at every opportunity and really understood our vision which truly helped bring our event to life and exceeded our expectations. We came to KIMBO looking to revitalize our packaging, while keeping the brand identity that our customers trust. The KIMBO team produced a bold and clean new look for our full product range, as well as a microsite and a product handout. Their work brought the McKenzie’s look to the forefront of our industry, while retaining a nod to our storied past. KIMBO provided all the customer service we could have asked for from an agency partner.

In 2015, KIMBO Design was contracted by the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture to conduct outreach to hundreds of BC agrifood and seafood industry representatives, and develop the first ever BC Agrifood and Seafood Export-Ready Business Catalogue. The high-quality, highly-polished catalogue that KIMBO developed exceeded our expectations and delivered exactly what we had hoped for: a means to showcase BC’s agrifood and seafood industry to international buyers around the world. Throughout the entire process, the staff at KIMBO were extremely professional, well organized and highly adaptable, going above and beyond to deliver an excellent product in the timeframe they said they would.

A registered non-profit society incorporated under the Society Act in British Columbia, the University of British Columbia Faculty Association (UBCFA ) is a voluntarily recognized union and the sole bargaining agent for over 3000 UBC faculty members. The Association’s website, although well-organized and easy to navigate, was becoming old. Not optimized for the multitude of devices used to access the web, it also required specialized knowledge in order to make any content updates. KIMBO Design took our old site and redeveloped it, providing a fresh look and feel that brought our web presence up to date but still in keeping with the site’s original organizational structure. Functionality was improved and, by rebuilding it on the WordPress platform, it’s now much more accessible and easier to work with.

Working with KIMBO has been a pleasure. No request has been too big or small and they’ve been extremely accommodating to our needs, always delivering on time and to the highest standard. It has been an enormous weight off our shoulders knowing that KIMBO are taking care of our website services and they’ve done a fantastic job in that respect. Working with a company where all their staff are operating on the same page and working with such dedication and pride in their product has been a real pleasure and we look forward to working together on projects again in the future. KIMBO Design provides excellent graphic design and web development. Our web development project was highly technical and required a custom developed database on which KIMBO was able to deliver.
