When healthcare colleagues Drs. Magowan, Dossa, and Saona came together to form TeamWorks Health Clinic, they came to KIMBO Design to help create a company name, logo, website, and collateral that would represent the amalgamation of their individual practices. Being a new team coming together, they were excited by the new clinic and creating the right brand voice to represent their collaboration.

The Challenge
Sometimes clients come to us with a concept and a definite look and feel in mind, while other clients aren’t clear on their direction. This was the case with the doctors from TeamWorks, as they didn’t have a direction or logo concept in mind, but knew they needed something to represent the partners coming together in one practice. When we shared our concepts, they came back with their own final sketch that took a different direction then decided upon from initial discussions.
The Strategy
The doctors wanted their branding to represent a group working together, offering a wide range of health services, in a unique team environment. Once the creative direction was decided, we created a mood board to help decide on the colour palette. After receiving the doctor’s logo sketch, we proceeded and created a polished version of the logo from their final sketch rendering.
Results
We used a colour palette of contrasting teal and orange to represent trust and integrity, which demonstrate a confident boldness in their new endeavour. The logo was based on the doctor’s collaborated effort, representing a team huddled together with arms on each others’ shoulders.
